We are looking for a field based Business Development Manager. This is a unique opportunity to become a founding and critical member of a rapidly growing team in a new territory. You’ll be working with London best cafes, QSR’s and restaurants. As a member of the local sales team, your role will include developing new relationships with restaurants as well as cultivating existing ones. This is a role for an intelligent, motivated, self-starter to develop their sales career for a leading company within its market sector.
What you’ll be doing
Map and target restaurants across London with a very methodical and organised approach
Communicate (physical visits, email, calls, social media) with restaurants to demonstrate the benefits of Bamboo’s mobile payments technology
Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations
Launch and train new restaurant partners. This is a hands-on role requiring in the field problem solving to set each partner up for operational success.
Managing restaurant accounts and building a strong relationship with staff and executives across our restaurant network.
Being responsible for your metrics and KPI’s which affect top-line revenue growth.
What skill’s you’ll need
You must be comfortable with targeting new business and have proven Sales Experience. Previous hospitality or restaurant sales is a significant plus.
The job requires great communication skills whether it be face to face, through phone or email.
You're able to train people and convince them to adopt new ways of doing things regardless of their abilities.
Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
